The Best Place

“I remember you daily at the Best Place!”
This is one of my favorite quotes. I wish I could recall where I had seen it, but I can’t remember! What I do remember is the important part, the meaning. It means: I’m praying for you. I remember to pray for you daily at the best place, before God. Where is your best place before God? Maybe it’s anywhere and everywhere and that works, or maybe it’s a special chair you sit in each day, or a pillow you kneel on, or a war room closet (remember that movie?) Talk about inspiring us to pray diligently and with purpose and passion as we talk to our Father. For me it’s a seat on the corner of my sofa, it’s early in the morning, coffee at my side, glasses somewhere nearby…, Bible and a devotional open on my lap, right now it is Charles Spurgeon’s Morning by Morning, revised and updated by Alistair Begg. I read, study, and pray. I remember many daily at the Best Place. It is the best! I have found none better. Jesus is there, always listening, always speaking through His word, always working. HE is the best place and makes intercession for us daily.
Let the following scriptures encourage you to remember daily at the best place.
James 5:16
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Romans 8:26
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Romans 8:27
Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Romans 8:34
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
Hebrews 7:25
Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
The Lord bless you…

This Week’s Verse to Memorize: Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. –Matthew 16:24-25
