Unprecedented Times

Posted on March 23, 2020 by Catey Stover in Freedom Fighters

God’s heart is for the nations. Our hearts should beat along with His heart as well, “not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9 – Living the Battle Plan

These are unprecedented times in our world. Our world right now is spiraling out of control with fear, uncertainty, and panic. I find myself overwhelmed at times, and really? I get to the place where I just have to disconnect with all media.

There are times in the last week where I felt frightened and scared for my family, friends, and, most of all, the ministry of America’s Keswick.

But as the week went on, the Lord continually has spoken peace to my heart in amazing ways.

I am thankful for the many verses that He has brought back to my mind to remind me that:

He is in control of all things.
He is still seated on His throne.
He is not surprised by ANYTHING that is happening.
He will never leave us or forsake us.
He has a plan and a purpose for our lives.
He will complete the work that He has started.

I am blessed with amazing men and women who serve on our Board and for the team that is on the front lines of ministry every single day, 365 days a year. Despite their fears and anxieties, they are serving the Lord with their best.

We are looking for ways to minister to our extended Keswick family so that we can encourage and stay connected to them.

We have recorded a brand new podcast that will air at least once a week. We recorded three episodes, and they are posted on YouTube. Here is the link for episode three of the Robert and Bill podcast. The testimony of Kenny will blow your mind!!!

Robert and Joyce Hayes and I will be offering at Keswick Worship Live on Facebook, Monday through Friday, at 1:30 PM. Our folks are loving this, and our audience is growing.

I shared with our staff last week:

  1. Our mission, purpose, and core value remain unchanged. They are still intact.
  2. We are committed to serving the men and women in our addiction recovery ministry. They are the guests that God has sent us to minister to 24/7. Governor Murphy has allowed us to be an “essential” business in New Jersey and even thanked us for our service.
  3. While our conference, retreat, and outreach events are “canceled,” – we are looking for creative ways to say connected to our partners and friends. We will be utilizing on-line ministry opportunities to the best of our ability. This could include online support groups, an online ministry to our Families for Christ couples, and so much more. Watch for details.

We are praying for you, and if you need someone to pray for you, you can call our reservation lines from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and one of our staff, will be available to pray with and for you.

Today’s Freedom Fighter was a little different. We are here for you and your family. Stay connected to the Lord. Stay focused on who you are in Christ, and remember – You are not alone!!!
