Put Off Put On – Part 3

Posted on May 25, 2020 by Catey Stover in Freedom Fighters

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:5-8

So many people get turned off with Christianity because of the perception that we sometimes give that it is a “religion” of do’s and don’t’s.

Apart from the Christ living His life in and through me (Galatians 2:20), it would be IMPOSSIBLE to work through the first three lists (and one more to go). With His help and the power of the Holy Spirit, these qualities to “put off and put on” are possible.

As you read through today’s list, are there areas the Holy Spirit nudged you to say, “Let’s work on this one together.” I found two or three I know I want to work on this week.

We appreciate your willingness to track with us Monday through Friday. We are thankful you are a part of the Freedom Fighter family.
