The Word Will Lift You Up

Posted on June 21, 2019 by America's Keswick in Victory Call

There are times in my day when I need a pick me up.  Sometimes I simply let the thoughts in my mind bring me down.  I need a mind shift.  Does that happen to you?

I thought I would share some of the scripture I use in those times that help get my mind into a better place.  The TRUTH will always set us free.

“The eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.” (2 Chron. 16:9)

“When all kind of trials and temptations crowd into your lives, my brothers (and sisters) don’t resent them as intruders, but welcome them as friends!  Realize that they come to test your faith and to produce in you the quality of endurance.  But let the process go until that endurance is fully developed, and you will find you have become men (and women) of mature character with the right sort of independence.”  (James 1:2-4

“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.  (1Thes. 5:18)

“Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you.  He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.”  (Deut. 31:8)

“…being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in YOU will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”  (Phil 1:6)

“The confidence of my calling enables me to overcome every difficulty without shame, for I have an intimate revelation of this God. And my faith in him convinces me that he is more than able to keep all that I’ve placed in his hands safe and secure until the fullness of his appearing.” (2 Tim. 1:12)

And I leave you with one of my favorites:

“Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.”  (Eph. 3:20)

Have a beautiful day and be filled with TRUTH!!

Blessings,

Pat

Think About This: “No one can get Joy by merely asking for it. It is one of the ripest fruits of the Christian life, and, like all fruits, must be grown.” – Henry Drummond

This Week’s Verse to Memorize: But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. – Galatians 6:14
