Sabbath Rest

Posted on June 28, 2018 by America's Keswick in Victory Call

My devotion this morning reminded me to decompress from the business of the day. I started thinking about that. Psalm 23:2 says ‘ He leads me beside still waters He restores my soul.”  Now I know most people take Saturday or Sunday as their sabbath rest day. But I think with all the noise of the world today, we need a sabbath rest everyday. Each day find a place a quite place and be still, maybe listen to worship music. Try to make it a habit to find time daily to be refreshed and restored. You can do this anywhere. In your car at lunch, in a park, just find a quite place and “check in” with God and let Him refresh your soul. We all need to take time in our business and listen to that still small voice. Make that a new practice in your day, you will find your days are happier and much more peaceful.
