Plan for Sustaining Generations

Posted on January 22, 2019 by America's Keswick in Victory Call

Those of you, who know me, know I have long celebrated Rosh Chodesh.  Rosh Chodesh is a monthly celebration at the beginning of each Hebrew Month.  By holding a new month celebration, the Jewish people are declaring, “the very first thing we will do with our time this month is to joyfully celebrate to the Lord.”  Each month celebrates one of the twelve tribes of Israel.  Each month is associated with special blessings.

As I am writing this we are in the Hebrew month of Shevat.  Although I will not go in all the details of this month, I will share something that I believe God used to release fresh revelation.  In the month of Shevat we are told it is a time to develop a plan of sustaining generations.  This year during the Hebrew month of Shevat, the March for Life happened down in Washington DC.  It is a peaceful march that has gone on since Jan. 22, 1973, when our Supreme Court made its horrific decision called Roe vs. Wade.  The year of that decision was also written in the month of Shevat.  I believe this was, likely unknowingly, a plan for the coming generations.  Its intent was not to sustain the generations.  It was a plan of death authored by the one who lies, steals and destroys.

To date, that decision of our Supreme Court has resulted in over 60 million aborted babies.  It has killed or wounded both physically and emotionally countless mothers.  Since that decision, the death of children who are born has been on the rise.  The US is now #1 among industrial nations in infant mortality; we have an epidemic drug problem that kills; countless children die or are significantly ill due to toxins in mandated vaccines; countless children are hurt as marriage covenants are broken.  The list goes on and on.  We need a new plan.

This month as we gathered to celebrate Rosh Chodesh, we wrote a new plan to sustain generations.  By the grace of God we developed a plan using, among other verses, Psalm 1, Galatians 5:22-23 and Isaiah 44:3-4.  Our plan pictures of the tree of life with rivers of bliss nearby and roots of righteousness under it.  The branches were filled with words like the fruits of the Spirit, the Word, revelation, wisdom, fear of the Lord, strong, courageous, blessed, prosperous, worship, and of course Holy Spirit.  The tree was strong and straight like a poplar tree.  Because the Word tells us we can bind and loose (Matthew 18:18) we bound the old plan developed by the world in 1973 and loosed a new plan released to us by the Spirit of the Living God.

Will you join us?  Bind the plan of death for the generations and loose a truly sustaining plan for life.  Release a plan for generations to walk into the destiny that God prepared for them. (Ps. 139:14)  It has a future and a hope. (Jer. 29:11).

Blessings,

Pat

Psalm 1 TPT
What delight comes to those who follow God’s ways! They won’t walk in step with the wicked, nor share the sinner’s way, nor be found sitting in the scorner’s seat. Their pleasure and passion is remaining true to the Word of “I Am,” meditating day and night in his true revelation of light. They will be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God’s design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of their lives. They are never dry, never fainting, every blessed, ever prosperous.

But how different are the wicked. All they are is dust in the wind, driven away to destruction! The wicked will not endure the Day of Judgment, for God will not defend them. Nothing they do will succeed or endure for long, for they have no part with those who walk in truth.  But how different it is for the righteous! The Lord embraces their paths as they move forward while the way of the wicked lead only to doom.
