“I am” Verses from the GREAT I AM!

When is the last time you thanked God for who he is? We’re very quick to thank the Lord for our blessings, which is such a wonderful thing, but when is the last time you thanked God for His character?

Let’s look at some powerful “I AM” verses from the Great I AM J

Genesis 17:1 – I am the Almighty God.

Exodus 22:27 – I am merciful.

Exodus 34:6 – I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.

John 6:48 – I am the bread of life.

John 8:12 – I am the light of the world.

John 10:11 – I am the good shepherd.

John 14:6 – I am the way, and the truth, and the life.

Isaiah 44:24 – “I am the LORD, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself.”

Revelation 22:13 – I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and last, the beginning and the end.

These are only a few of the many, many verses of scripture that outline Gods character, goodness, and power! Be sure to check them out and thank God for who He is today – because He is so good!
