God Has Made Himself Known

Have you thought lately about the truth that God has made Himself known? I mean… really thought about it? The Creator of ALL things, the Sustainer of ALL life, the Self-existent One, the Eternal One, infinite in all His attributes, the One that cannot be contained even within our vast universe that He Himself created – THAT God has made Himself known to us. That in itself is stunning.
For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. Romans 1:20
Throughout human history God has made Himself known to His people.
God made Himself known TO Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God made Himself know THROUGH Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
He made Himself known TO Moses: God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then he said, “Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” And he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Ex 3:4-6
God made Himself known THROUGH Moses: God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ ” Exodus 3:14-15
God made Himself known TO Isaiah and God made Himself known THROUGH Isaiah. Isaiah 6
God made Himself known TO Jeremiah and God made Himself known THROUGH Jeremiah. Jeremiah 1
God made Himself known TO Paul: Now as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him. And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.” Acts 9:3-5
God made Himself known THROUGH Paul: And immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogues, saying, “He is the Son of God.” And all who heard him were amazed… Acts 9:20-21
God has made Himself known TO you: O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:25-26
God wants to make Himself known THROUGH us: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28: 19-20
Do you want to know God more and more? Then seek Him, sister—seek Him with fervor.
You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13; You have said, “Seek my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.” Psalm 27:8
