Alpha and Omega…and everything in between

But now, O LORD, You are our Father, we are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand.  Isaiah 64:8
The analogy probably breaks down somewhere, but the following are just some thoughts to ponder. Of course, the Scriptures associated are not an exhaustive list…there are many, many more that could be added. In fact, if you think of one that fits for you, share it with me!
The whole world is a stage.                  (The earth is the LORD’s…Psalm 24:1)
God built the theater in which it exists.           (…and everything in it… Psalm 24:1)
He provided all the living beings that would witness  His production           (…but He that created all things, is God. Hebrews 3:4)
He cast the players          (…and all who live in it…Psalm 24:1)
He wrote the script            (For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Jeremiah 29:11)
His timeline outlasts the cast, save One,  so He constantly replaces the characters       (He is the living God and eternal King. Jeremiah 10:10)
He directs the scenes                    (…but willingly under God’s direction…1 Peter 5:2)
He provides the music, comedy and drama     (He will celebrate with singing…Zephaniah 3:17; The One enthroned in heaven laughs…Psalm 2:4; He was despised and rejected by  mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain” Isaiah 53:3)
It truly is a love story with a bittersweet ending          (Not everyone who calls out to me, “Lord! Lord!” will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. Matthew 7:21)
Admission is free and He allows audience participation      (For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have  eternal life. John 3:16)
