“What shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:31-32
Several weeks ago, I started sharing about stress and anxiety. I have heard from so many people who are battling these issues. Thanks for your openness, honesty, and transparency.
Sometimes in the midst of the battle, we easily forget that God is not only with us every step of the way, but He is FOR us, as Romans 8:31-32
In his devotional book, Meet Me in the Meadow, missionary statesman Roy Lessin reminds of how God is FOR YOU and me:
God gives you strength and power. God is for You!
God is awesome in his sanctuary. The God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God! Psalm 68:35 (NLT)
God is your deliverer. God is for You!
Our God is the God of salvation; And to God the Lord belongs escapes from death.
God daily bears your burdens. God is for You!
Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah Psalm 68:19
God leads out prisoners into prosperity. God is for You!
God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land. Psalm 68:6
God will not turn away your prayer. God is for You!
Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me! Psalm 66:20
God will never leave you or forsake you! God is for You!
And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31:8
God will not turn away His lovingkindness toward you. God is for You!
Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His mercy from me! Psalm 66:20
God shelters you under His wings. God is for You!
I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah Psalm 61:4
God will guide your life. God is for You!
For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death. Psalm 48:14
His closing comment is this: God is for you. Count on in! Believe it! Act like it! Live like it! Trust like it! Rejoice like it! Know it … because He really, truly, absolutely, positively is for you!
Be encouraged, my brothers (and sisters)! God is for you.
