Anchored Faithful Through The Ages

“The Lord is righteous in all His ways, gracious in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,… in truth… The Lord preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy… And all flesh shall bless His holy name.” Psalm 145:17–21 (NKJV)

Good morning on this new week of Freedom Fighter blogs. I am so grateful today for YOU and thank you for engaging with us each day.

It has been cool to see how many times our theme has come up in my personal daily quiet-time readings. I am working through Pastor Robert J. Morgan’s book, All to Jesus.

This was his entry on day 144:

In my files is a clipping of a man and his son who hiked up a rugged mountainside to an imposing peak with a magnificent panorama. Gazing in all directions, the dad said, “Jordan, this is a picture of God. His love is as big as all this; it extends as far as we can see or imagine.” “Wow,” said the boy, drinking it in, “and to think we’re right in the middle of it.”

Psalm 145 shows us we’re right in the middle of God’s love.

He is great and greatly to be praised (v. 3).
His greatness is unsearchable (v. 3), and we should declare His greatness (v. 6).
He is great in mercy, and His compassions are over all His works (vv. 8–9). He upholds all who fall and raises all who are bowed down (v. 14).
He provides our needs (v. 16).
He is righteous in all His ways and gracious in all His works.
He is near to all who call upon Him, and He preserves all who love Him (vv. 17–20).

Reading Psalm 145 is like climbing above the tree line and taking in the breathtaking view of God’s compassion, love, and tender mercies—and finding ourselves right in the middle of it all.

My guess is that someone besides me needed to read this today. This would be good to share with a friend. Better yet, purchase the book from Amazon and allow God to speak to your heart too!!!

Have a blessed day! You are blessed and highly favored!
