I am Pooh Bear

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD. Mark 10:27
I know this title sounds strange, but it won’t if you read on. Things have been tough in the Weinhardt house lately. Ray has been either almost falling or has fallen. Needless to say, I’ve been stressed. But God knows just what to do. We received a card from a friend reminding me that we are stronger than we see and that others see the love we have for the Lord. That’s when I remembered a saying I love from Winnie the Pooh. Christopher Robin tells Pooh if there comes a time when they are not together to always remember “you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think, but one thing to remember is I’ll always be with you.”
Isn’t that just like God to remind us that as long as He is with us, we are all those things? For me Christopher Robin represents God and Pooh represents me. I know it may not be much, but this little reminder helps me. I can’t do anything without the Lord, and I am who I am because of Him. Just like Pooh Bear is because of Christopher Robin. Without him, Pooh Bear would not be. So I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Because I’m braver than I believe, stronger than I seem, and smarter than I think. Thank you Lord for using the simple to remind me of the greater truth. You are always with me.

Think About This: Only he who can say, “The Lord is the strength of my life” can say, “Of whom shall I be afraid?” – Alexander MacLaren
This Week’s Verse to Memorize: O Lord, the hope of Israel, All who forsake You shall be ashamed. “Those who depart from Me Shall be written in the earth, Because they have forsaken the Lord, The fountain of living waters.” Jeremiah 17:13
