One of my favorite places on Earth is on the farm. 🐐 Usually during fairs and festivals, you can find me fighting my way through the crowd of children to get to the petting zoo so I can cuddle the baby goats (and there are usually tears of joy involved!) 🥲 I’ve been spit on my alpacas, tried to save injured birds on my back porch, and had to chase down some furry friends that were on the loose… but I wouldn’t change that for anything, because caring for some of God’s gentlest and kindest creatures FILLS my heart with joy. It is one of places where I feel the most “in my element.”

Scripture talks about seeing God in nature. Romans 1:20 says this:

𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘺𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘚𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘦.

Whether it be seeing an animal caring for it’s young, watching a baby bird break through his egg, observing an ant carry a piece of food 5,000 times it’s size, or even noticing a flower that broke through the snow, God’s glory is clear and evident in His creation, and it’s so … so beautiful.

Nature is a GIFT! I believe it’s of the sweetest and most stunning gifts the Lord has bestowed upon us. What part of the natural world can YOU most clearly see Elohim’s eternal power and divine nature in?

Think About This: Faith, as Paul saw it, was a living, flaming thing leading to surrender and obedience to the commandments of Christ. – A.W. Tozer

This Week’s Verse to Memorize: Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.  1 John 4:7-8
