Theme: “Pastoral Care & Sexual Abuse“

This seminar will examine how to best respond to revelations of sexual abuse. We’ll look at the prevalence of sexual abuse and some potential signs that abuse is taking or has taken place, as well as what to do—both practically and pastorally—when someone reveals a recent or historic experience of sexual abuse.

The sessions will be led by Dr. Noah Lang

Dr. Noah Lang is an experienced preacher, teacher, and counselor, who is passionate about helping people find healing and freedom through the gospel. As the Director and Pastoral Counselor at Mercy’s Shore Counseling Center, a ministry of America’s Keswick, he is committed to walking alongside men and women as they recover from abuse, trauma, and addiction. Previously, he served on the mission field (Russia), in Christian education, and in pastoral ministry. Noah is a graduate of Cairn University (B.S., Bible, Education), Liberty University (M.Div., Theology), and New Brunswick Theological Seminary (D.Min., Pastoral Care and Counseling).
