It’s that time of year again! Girls Weekend Away is one of our most exciting events of the year. Between our music ministry, fun games and activities, and powerful messages, this is an event you won’t want to miss. So bring your girlfriends along and get ready for a weekend of laughter!!

Weekend Speaker: Mel Tunney

What do we pray? How do we pray? How are our prayers answered? We will dig into these questions and come away with Biblical answers and inspiration to go deeper in our prayer lives, understanding this gift God has given us in our relationship with Him.

We can’t say enough about this INCREDIBLE woman of God! We have invited her and her husband, Dick, here for multiple Dinner Concerts, and we are so excited to have her here for Girl’s Weekend Away. Mel is currently a teacher and speaker for women’s events around the country.  She was raised in a minister of music’s home in Texas Both and was an accomplished musician at an early age. She has served as a worship leader from First Baptist Church of Columbia, TN, she and her husband have been honored with 10 Dove Awards, a prestigious Grammy Award, and nearly 30 Dove Nominations. Mel’s desire is to speak into the lives of women from God’s Word and inspire them to go further and deeper into the Scriptures.
