Finding Balance
Posted on September 24, 2018 by America's Keswick in Victory Call
As most know, my husband and I have been going through a trial. His health is not great, yet no one knows why yet. Of course we all know that Father knows and He is in control. But I’ve been trying to find balance. Now the balance is of when to seek others for help or go to Father. In the past I always went to others – anyone who would listen – to seek advice, direction and solace. Then I learned that I should bring all things before the Lord. So now I don’t ask others for any help, yet there are so many who offer help with prayers, a listening ear, a hug, a meal. I’m just not sure how to balance them both. But what I do know that sometimes I really need Jesus with skin. So my prayer is that we all find the balance to know that the Lord gives us strength in times of trouble but He also sends His children to encourage and walk with us in tough times. We were never meant to do life alone separate from the Father or each other. I prayer this encourages some one today because as I write this it has encouraged me to reach up and out. To find my balance and not replace one with the other but to remember I need both. May Father hold you close and send those you need to walk whatever you are walking through. And may He use you to help someone who needs Jesus with skin.

Daily Quote: “What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.”– Augustine
This Week’s Verse to Memorize:“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.” Jeremiah 17:7
