A Little Bit of Keswick
Posted on July 24, 2018 by America's Keswick in Victory Call
I love mornings!! Just the idea of a new day, a day to start over again and do things better. I hear the birds singing and watch the sun start to come up. It really is great.
Well, it’s conference season at Keswick and things are busy. It’s really nice to see families enjoying the grounds. Which of course got me to thinking. Most of the guests will say how lucky we are to be able to be on the grounds all the time. They feel God’s presence here and the peace that comes from being with Him. Well I’m not saying that it is not true because it is. I love walking the grounds and seeing all of creation, and knowing God made a place for people to come and grow in their relationship with Him, to get excellent teaching and great fellowship. But God does not want us to only have this once a year. He wants us to experience His presence all the time. That is why if we would spend time each day seeking to spend time with Him and asking Him to be where we are, inviting Him into our homes, we would have a little bit of Keswick all the time. Praying and worshiping in our homes is a great way to start. This is biblical.
In Revelation 3:20 it says “Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him and he with me.”
Yes this is talking about our hearts but also every other part of our lives. So enjoy the grounds of Keswick and the presence of the Lord here, but them take Him home and invite him into your home, and He will dwell with you.
