This year our theme is UNLEASHING HOPE in a confusing world, and I don’t know about you, but it seems that so many people are in need of a good dose of hope these days.

Welcome to this new week of Freedom Fighter blogs. For the next two or three weeks, I thought I would share some of the HOPE verses that we put together for our staff who wanted to memorize them this year.

There is no better place to learn about hope then from the Word of God. So let me share some of my favorites with you. Maybe you want to highlight them in your Bible, share them with your friends on your Social Media pages, or print them out on 3X5 cards and refer to them often throughout the rest of this year.

Think About This: God’s promises are pine trees in the Rocky Mountains of Scripture: abundant, unbending, and perennial. Some of the promises are positive, the assurance of blessings. Some are negative, the guarantee of consequences. But all are binding, for not only is God a promise maker; God is a promise keeper. ~Lucado, Max. Unshakable Hope: Building Our Lives on the Promises of God (p. 5). Thomas Nelson. Kindle Edition.

This Week’s Verse to Memorize: For surely there is a hereafter, And your hope will not be cut off. ~Proverbs 23:18
