When We Give

When we give of ourselves, ‘two good things will result from this ministry; first, the needs of the believers will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanks to God.’ As a result of your acts of kindness, believers who receive your gift will give glory to God. If that isn’t enough, your generosity to them and to all others will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ. And they will pray for you with deep affection because of the overflowing grace God has given to you. Wow!

We put so much emphasis on the gift itself, and at times understandably so because of the stress it relives in one’s life, but please don’t miss all that God is doing to build up our faith and bring abundant joy into all of our lives.

Along with Paul and those early believers, we “Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!”

(2 Corinthians 9:12-15)

Praying you know the abundant grace and joy of our Savior and God today.

Choose wisely….

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21)
