Production Director

 

Mission: America’s Keswick is a multi-generational, cross-cultural ministry where biblical teaching and worship lead to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, resulting in a transformed life. We serve people with excellence through addiction recovery, conferences, events, retreats and outreach.

Purpose: The purpose of America’s Keswick is to model and teach biblical victorious living in Christ Jesus, to provide an environment in which biblical life transformation takes place and to foster active personal involvement in the local church.

Department Purpose: The Production Department exists to serve the mission of America’s Keswick by providing reliable, high-quality audio, video, lighting, and presentation support for services, conferences, and events. Through thoughtful planning, collaboration, and faithful stewardship, the department enhances worship, programming, and guest experiences while equipping staff, volunteers, and interns to serve with excellence and unity.

Position Purpose: The Production Director provides operational oversight for all production-related ministries. This role ensures technical excellence while cultivating teams that support worship, programming, and guest experiences with clarity, creativity, and consistency. The Director leads multiple production teams, manages systems and schedules, and steward’s equipment and resources with integrity.

 

ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS:

  • The one holding this position must be a mature Christian, able to effectively lead and demonstrate Christ-likeness. It is imperative that this person always conduct themselves in a manner as to uphold a solid testimony in harmony with traditional, conservative, evangelical values. He or she must completely adhere to the doctrinal position of America’s Keswick and seek to live the principles of God’s Word. It is understood that failure to maintain a high standard of personal testimony will be grounds for dismissal.
  • Proficiency withPlanning Center for service planning, scheduling, and team coordination
  • Experience usingAsana for production planning, timelines, and cross-department collaboration
  • Working knowledge ofAbleton Live and Loop Community for worship playback, tracks, and time-based elements
  • Familiarity with worship licensing and reporting requirements throughCCLI and SongSelect
  • Proficiency with ProPresenter to oversee lyric and presentation systems, including slide creation, formatting standards, and confidence monitor workflows
  • Strong understanding of professional live-sound environments, including digital mixing consoles and audio systems such asBehringer, Allen & Heath, Midas, and DiGiCo
  • Knowledge of lighting and stage systems such as Lightkey, including cue-based workflows, DMX lighting, and integration with worship and playback elements
  • Ability to create and oversee equipment inventory system, maintenance, documentation, and lifecycle planning to ensure reliable and well-stewarded systems
  • Musical ability or experience playing an instrument is a preferred bonus, enhancing communication with worship leaders and production teams
  • Experience with video production and editing, including operation of video cameras, basic lighting for video, and post-production editing for services, events, and promotional content
  • This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • This position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Administrative, computer, IT, and organizational skills are required.
  • This position requires excellent leadership abilities, discipleship abilities, strong team building skills and superior musicality and technical skills.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership and oversight for all production and technical ministries, ensuring excellence, consistency, and alignment with the mission ofAmerica’s Keswick
  • Lead, manage, and develop all production teams, including audio, lyrics/presentation, lighting, stage design, and video
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supportstaff, volunteers, and interns, fostering growth, ownership, and a healthy team culture
  • Create and manage department schedules, volunteer rotations, and coverage plans for services, conferences, rehearsals, and special events
  • Collaborate closely with Worship and Program teams to plan and execute production needs in advance
  • Oversee all technical and production elements for services, conferences, concerts, and events, ensuring reliable execution and clear communication
  • Develop and maintain run-of-show documents, production timelines, and technical plans
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance during rehearsals and live events, stepping in hands-on as needed
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all production equipment; oversee proper setup, storage, maintenance, repair, and replacement planning
  • Recommend and manage equipment purchases in alignment with budget and ministry needs
  • Ensure production spacesincludingstages, green room, storage areas, and production officeare kept clean, organized, and orderly
  • Establish and document standard operating procedures, workflows, and best practices for production systems and teams
  • Oversee video production needs, including camera operation, basic editing workflows, and coordination with marketing or communications teams
  • Ensure safe operation of all production systems and equipment, including adherence to applicable policies and regulations
  • Model Christ-centered leadership, professionalism, and integrity in all interactions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall mission and operations of the ministry

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: The Production Director reports to the Director of Strategic Initiatives.

 

HOURS: This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week. Due to the nature of the organization, the Director will need to work a variety of hours and days, including nights and weekends to accomplish the job.

 

COMPENSATION: $18.00 per hour
