Partner Care Associate – FT
MISSION: America’s Keswick is a multi-generational, cross-cultural ministry where biblical teaching and worship lead to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, resulting in a transformed life. We serve people with excellence through addiction recovery, conferences, events, retreats and outreach.
PURPOSE: The purpose of America’s Keswick is to model and teach biblical victorious living in Christ Jesus, to provide an environment in which biblical life transformation takes place and to foster active personal involvement in the local church.
DEPARTMENT PURPOSE: The Partner Care Department will carry out the Purpose and Mission statements of the ministry by seeking to promote the ministry of America’s Keswick whenever possible. The department’s primary goal must be to secure funds from various sources of donors to provide for the fiscal needs of the ministry.
POSITION PURPOSE: As part of the Partner Care team, this individual is primarily responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing strategies to engage donors, churches, and organizations in relationships, encourage prayer and financial support.
ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS:
- The one holding this position must be a mature Christian, able to lead and demonstrate Christ-likeness effectively. This person must conduct themself at all times in such a manner as to uphold a solid testimony in harmony with traditional, conservative, evangelical values. They must completely adhere to the doctrinal position of America’s Keswick and seek to live the principles of God’s Word. It is understood that failure to maintain a high standard of personal testimony will be grounds for dismissal.
- Ideally, this person should have at least 1-2 years of experience in fundraising.
- Must have working knowledge of computers, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must have strong writing skills, customer service and personal relations skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively pursues visits with donors or prospective donors every week
- Minimum of 4 visits during first 6 months, 6 or more after that
- Builds relationships leading to potential financial support
- Focuses on church relationships with pastors, mission committee chairpersons, and other church leaders to strengthen church relationships, schedule presentations, and increase new and existing mission support.
- Prepares and maintains spreadsheets of church presentations.
- Contacts supporting and covenant churches with monthly updates.
- Create/update church newsletters and mail them out bi-annually
- Makes contact to thank donors for their gifts.
- Manages and updates donor databases via Donor Perfect (DPO)
- Visits donors in and out of state representing PC/Keswick on bus trips, at funerals, etc., as requested.
- Attend America’s Keswick-sponsored conferences and events, such as regional prayer team meetings, Anniversary Banquets, concerts, guest meals, etc.
- Presents the ministry at churches, civic groups, or meetings as assigned.
- Actively assists the Grant Writer as follows:
- Writes small/local grants as requested.
- Compiles information as requested by the Grant Writer.
- Participates on fundraising committees as assigned
- Host a table of prospective or current donors at dinner concerts, etc.
- Takes on other responsibilities as directed by the Director of Partner Care and the President/CEO.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
- Reports to the Director of Partner Care.
- Works with Partner Care staff, the marketing staff, and the Chief Financial Officer/CFO.
HOURS: This full-time position requires 40 hours per week (on occasion, hours may surpass 40, and shifts may surpass 8 hours). Work weeks may include evenings, weekends, and overnight travel as assigned by the Director of Partner Care or the President/CEO.
