Marketing Assistant – PT

DEPARTMENT PURPOSE:The Marketing Department plays a vital role in promoting the mission and vision of America’s Keswick.  It serves as the face of the organization, coordinating and producing all materials representing America’s Keswick.  It is the responsibility of the department to reach out to our partners, friends and community, and highlight our ministries, including Christian events, group retreats and our heartbeat, addiction recovery.

 

POSITION PURPOSE: This role supports the Marketing Director in administrative tasks that include assembling and distributing publications, media support and a full range of promotional activities as directed – all completed in strong partnership with Programming, Guest Services & Addiction Recovery, and Development team members.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in the printing, cutting, and folding of all Keswick printed publications and any mailing operations as needed.
  • Assists in overseeing and maintaining supplies for the Print Shop.
  • Oversees the quality and timely delivery of all radio advertising press releases
  • Assists in documenting on-campus and off-campus ministry promotion.
  • Completes other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • GED/High School Diploma required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • At least one year experience in a role which demonstrates responsibility, timeliness and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a marketing or creative field and/or additional training and education in marketing or related disciplines is a plus.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: The Marketing Assistant reports to the Director of Marketing.

 

JOB DETAILS: Hourly role, 20-hour workweek, will need to support on- and off-campus promotional events which may also occur during evening and weekend hours.  May be responsible for sourcing and overseeing volunteer help.
