Marketing Director
– Full Time
Mission: America’s Keswick is a multi-generational, cross-cultural ministry where biblical teaching and worship lead to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, resulting in a transformed life. We serve people with excellence through addiction recovery, conferences, events, retreats, and outreach.
Purpose: The purpose of America’s Keswick is to model and teach biblical victorious living in Christ Jesus, to provide an environment in which biblical life transformation takes place, and to foster active personal involvement in the local church.
Position Purpose: The Marketing Director holds the ultimate responsibility for America’s Keswick’s marketing activities and oversees the development and delivery of a marketing strategy for the ministry.
ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS
- The one holding this position must be a mature Christian, able to effectively lead and demonstrate Christ-likeness. It is imperative that this person always conduct themselves in a manner that upholds a solid testimony in harmony with traditional, conservative, evangelical values. He or she must completely adhere to the doctrinal position of America’s Keswick and seek to live the principles of God’s Word.
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field, preferably Marketing or Business.
- This position requires a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a related field, emphasizing creative development in marketing.
- Proficiency in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and social media management. (Metricool, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Mailchimp, Flodesk, Podbean, G4 Analytics, LeadHub).
- Project management and organizational leadership skills. (Asana, MS Office Suite, Wufoo, Give Cloud, Homeschool Life, ChatGPT)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, assigning and outsourcing tasks appropriately.
- Strong communication, writing, and editing skills.
- Ability to work independently while also leading a collaborative team.
- Experience in website management (WordPress or similar CMS preferred).
- Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Ad Grants management (or ability to oversee contractors).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Department Leadership & Management
- Develops and executes the annual Marketing Plan and Department Budget.
- Oversees the daily operations of the Marketing Department.
- Supervises marketing staff, volunteers, contractors and interns.
- Manages relationships with outside contractors (e.g., SEO firms, advertising agencies, print/mail houses).
- Assigns projects and tasks to staff or vendors as appropriate.
- Maintains department inventory and orders needed materials from outside vendors.
- Completes miscellaneous duties as assigned by the supervisor.
2. Planning & Execution
- Designs comprehensive marketing strategies for: Digital Marketing (websites, social media, email marketing, digital advertising).
- Print Marketing (brochures, appeal letters, signage, postcards, etc.).
- Plans and executes marketing efforts for: AK Events (approx 100 annually), Guest group retreats, Addiction recovery ministries, Facility rentals, Public relations, Brand awareness and management, and Newsworthy events.
3. Digital Marketing Management
- Designs, updates, and manages all America’s Keswick websites, including:
- Main Keswick website
- Addiction Recovery website
- Various AK blogs
- Web forms
- SEO
- Web analytics
- Ticketing platform (Ticket Tailor)
- Manages all social media platforms:
- Facebook pages and groups
- TikTok
- YouTube (with collaboration from A/V Manager)
- Podcasts (with collaboration from A/V Manager)
- Manages all email marketing campaigns:
- Keswick Family Buzz
- Guest group promotions
- Other segmented lists as needed
- Manages other:
- Google Grant AdWords campaigns
- Other digital marketing needs
4. Print Marketing & Communications
- Designs all literature for America’s Keswick, including but not limited to:
- Brochures
- Guidebooks
- Postcards
- Appeal letters
- Event promotions
- Manages the internal printing of all marketing materials.
- Manages the mailing process for literature, whether in-house or outsourced.
- Coordinates outsourced print and mail projects as needed.
- Designs and maintains all of America’s Keswick’s signage.
5. Content Creation & Visual Media
- Provides in-house photography services for events, promotions, and publications.
- Provides assets, captions, tags, etc for all social media.
- Coordinates live event coverage and promotional photo/video needs.
- Ensures cohesive visual branding across all platforms and materials.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Marketing Director reports to the Director of Strategic Initiatives.
HOURS
This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week. Due to the nature of Marketing, this position will need to work a variety of hours and days, including nights and weekends, to accomplish the job responsibilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Starting pay is $18-22 per hour, plus:
