Pre-registration to create your account: opens at 9am on Wednesday, August 27.
Families will need to visit after 9am on the 27th and click “Request Membership in America’s Keswick Homeschool Ko-op!”. This step MUST be completed by all families, even if they have registered in previous semesters.
Full registration for classes will open at 9am on Wednesday, September 3 at the same link.
Families will use the log-in information they entered to request their account during pre-registration.

Classes Available
Dance: Ages 8-11 Teacher: Natalie Brady
This class is open to all boys and girls ages 8-11 years old. In this class, students will have the opportunity to explore various styles of dance including jazz, musical theater, pop, ballet and improvisation. Throughout the course, each class will include a warm up/stretching, basic technique, and a short dance routine in the style of the week. Students will also spend time in each class working on a special presentation for the showcase. All dance movements are age-appropriate and kid-friendly, set to Christian music. During the warm up time, the song of the day will be introduced and the lyrics discussed. Students should wear closed-toe shoes or socks, whatever the child is most comfortable in.
Lego: Ages 5-7 & 8-11 Teacher: Natalie Brady
This will be an exciting, hands-on class designed to spark your child’s imagination and inspire them to think both creatively and logically. Students will tackle fun building challenges that encourage independent problem-solving as well as collaborative teamwork in small groups. Each session will blend playful exploration with critical thinking, helping children develop spatial awareness, persistence, and communication skills—while having a great time!
Supplies Needed
An assortment of LEGO bricks – A shoebox of your child’s mixed pieces from home works perfectly. Please avoid sending any special or sentimental bricks that you wouldn’t want lost or accidentally mixed into the group collection. If you’re starting a collection, a great option is the LEGO Classic Medium Creative Brick Box Building Toy Set.

Sweet Tooth Club: Ages 8-11 Teacher: Natalie Brady
In this class, students will dive into a world of creativity by exploring a variety of sweet treats and mastering the art of preparation and decoration. They’ll discover fun tricks and expert techniques to create and decoarte desserts that look as amazing as they taste. Along the way, they’ll learn essential kitchen safety skills and how to keep their workspace clean, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable baking experience. By the end, they’ll be ready to craft the ultimate dessert masterpiece with confidence and creativity.

Book Club First Novels: Ages 8-11 Teacher: Meghan Critelli
Theme: Main Character Energy
Ages 8-11 can vary so much in ability to read- if your student is not at the stage to read independently they can still participate in this class! I encourage you to read it aloud as a family or find the audiobook version. Each class the students will be assigned a book to read at home for the following class. During class we will discuss the book and then the students will draw their interpretations of the main character. Their drawings will be presented at the end of semester showcase. Books can be purchased or borrowed. I highly recommend utilizing your local public library, signing up for a free Hoopla account and a free Libby account. I have included where to find each book for free. There is no book to read for week 1- instead we will be discussing main characters and taking a vote for the week 6 book. As other teachers have in the past, I will honor Ms. Anna Holland’s “index card for a prize rule” from past book club classes- if the student brings an index card with a rating of each book from 1 (dislike) to 10 (love) and why, then they earn a prize.

In this class we will play multiple physical games that will work their endurance and competitive nature. Please have your child bring a water bottle and proper gym shoes and clothes.
Gym/ Fitness: Ages 12+ Teacher: Lindsay De Leon
In this class we will work on different body muscles and fitness. Exercises will be taught along with different games or challenges that focus on that body part for that day. Please have your child bring a water bottle and proper shoes and clothes for gym class.
Connecting with God: Ages 12+ Teacher: Brian Ferguson
Through five different topics, growing on our connection with God. This will help with dealing with living in this fallen world and searching for God’s direction for our lives. As we look at these topics from a biblical view point, each child will be encouraged and helped with writing a specific prayer. This prayer will communicate how they hope to serve God through a personal interest that appeals to them.
Week 1- Our mindset about life compared to a biblical description of what it should be.
Week 2- Relying on the truths found in scripture when relationship, situations, and obstacles arise.
Week 3- Building faith as we recognize God’s hand and acknowledge it.
Week 4- How and where to get involved with to serve God.
Week 5- Discussing the “Purpose” and how to accomplish this the best way for each of during the season we are in.
Week 6- The “Results” Name and Explain any steps or ideas of how we feel more connected to God through this class.

Nature Sience: Ages 8-11 Teacher: Kelleen Grillon

This class is great for nature lovers, but even those who aren’t so sure about the outdoors will be inspired as they learn the intricacies and enjoyment there is in God’s beautiful creation! Class topics will include the relations of organisms to one another and to their environment, as well as considering how to be good stewards of God’s creation. This class will be a mix of classroom and outdoor activities. I look forward to exploring God’s creation with your child this semester!
American Civics III: Ages 12+ Teacher: Maurice Grillon
No prerequisite required.
In this course we will continue to explore the 27 amendments to the American Constitution. There are no prerequisites. Students are expected to bring a notebook and pencil to each class.
The Basics of Pastels: Ages 8-11 Teacher: Alyssa Groenewold
There will be a $15 supply fee for this class.
We will begin with an overview of pastels. Demonstrations on basic techniques followed by guided practice. Then students will learn color mixing, texture, value and composition through Still Life drawing.
Class 1: Intro to materials – Demonstration of techniques followed by student practice.
Class 2: VanGogh Still life Day 1 – Composition and sketching of still life. Begin pastel techniques step by step with me.
Class 3: VanGogh Still life Day 2 – Complete pastel drawing of sunflowers and fix work.
Class 4: Matisse still life Day 1 – Begin composition of pumpkins and 2 other fall items. Slightly more challenging composition.
Class 5: Begin adding pastel techniques and color mixing.
Class 6: Finish pastel still life and fix work.
I have a class set of aprons but each child is welcome to bring a smock if they prefer that.
Crocheting: Ages 8-11 & 12+ Teacher: Alexis Jaeger
Beyond the Basic Single Stitch
We will explore the world of Amigurumi (crocheted stuffed animals), beginning with the magic ring, increasing, and decreasing.
Prerequisite: Must know how to hold yarn, chain, and single crochet already.
Requested Supplies: folder, scissors, yarn needle (preferably metal), & crochet hook size H, I, or J
Optional: Worsted weight “value” yarn in your choice of color(s)
Creative Arts: Ages 5-7 Teacher: Michelle Labelle
Young artists will paint, draw, sculpt, and create with a variety of materials while exploring color, texture, and imagination. Each session encourages self-expression, problem-solving, and collaboration in a fun, supportive environment—perfect for curious minds and busy hands.
Make-up & Identity: Ages 8-11 & 12+ Teacher: Miriam Nieves
Make-up & Identity is a class for girls that explores the connection between their God given beauty and who they are in Christ, teaching them how to express themselves through makeup while grounding their true identity in Christ. Through practical application and biblical lessons, they will learn that their worth is found in God’s love, not in external appearance.
Supplies: Bring your personal makeup to class and a notebook or journal.
Multiplication Games for Beginners: Ages 8-11 Teacher: Melissa O’Brien
This class is for beginners at multiplication who have the basics down, but not necessarily mastered. We will work on speed and accuracy in multiplication from 0-12 by playing games as class. Students aren’t required to bring any supplies to class.
Time & Money: Ages 5-7 Teacher: Melissa O’Brien
This class is for anyone who needs extra practice with identifying coins, their values, how to make change, and how to estimate cost. We will also spend some time reviewing time to the hour, minute, quarter to/past, half past, and elapsed time. Please have students bring a notebook, pencil, and crayons to class.
Following Directions / Critical Thinking: Ages 5-7 Teacher: Gina O’Hara
To effectively help a 5-7 year old follow directions should focus on building comprehension, active listening, and memory skills, while also emphasizing the importance of cooperation and motivation. Activities should be engaging, age-appropriate, and incorporate visual and kinesthetic learning.
Learning objectives – Upon completion of this term, students should be able to:
Demonstrate active listening skills (e.g., making eye contact, waiting quietly).
Understand and follow 1-step directions consistently.

For 8-11 year olds, developing the ability to follow directions and critical thinking involves a combination of clear instructions, practice, and encouragement. Strategies include breaking down complex tasks, providing context, and offering playful motivation.

Bird is the Word: Ages 12+ Teacher: James Serpico
Matthew 6:26 says, “Consider the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they?”
In this class, students will learn about birds. In each class, we will identify one bird and how that bird is provided for by the hand of God. In turn, we will learn how much God cares about providing for us. This class will take place on a wing and a prayer.
Bible Fun: Ages 5-7 & 8-11 Teacher: Erica Strader
Come learn about the Bible in a fun and interactive way through various games and crafts!
Science Fair Class: Ages 12+ Teacher: Rosalia Tisch
*This class has a $25 supply fee*
This class is designed to take place during the Fall Semester Session Weeks 1 – 6. The students will work with a partner. Pre-selected experiments have been made and the students can choose which they prefer. In general, all work is done in class, except for researching helpful information for their experiment… Week 1 will be about classroom rules and expectations, scientific methods, public speaking, etc. Week 2 – 4 will be when they work on their labs. Week 5 will be analyzing their data, deciding how to make their poster board/work on their poster board, make their script, etc. Week 6 will be finishing their poster boards, rehearsing their work, then presenting their work in class (we will allow family, etc. to sit in for the last hour to see their presentations), and they also have the opportunity to present it at the showcase. Please let me know if there are any allergies. Don’t forget to tie back long hair, wear closed toe shoes, and bring a pencil/pen, notebook, and scientific calculator. I look forward to this semester.
Leadership Development: Ages 14+ Teacher: Angie Urban
This course will explore the principles of servant leadership, modeled by Jesus, and apply these principles to leadership opportunities within America’s Keswick. Through classroom learning, department visits, campus tours, and hands-on leadership responsibilities, students will gain a deeper understanding of how servant leadership impacts communities, organizations, and personal growth.
No need for supplies, but Bibles and notebooks are welcome!
Music: Ages 5-7 Teacher: Matt Vogel
This children’s music and worship class explores how God created music and invites us to use our voices, bodies, and instruments to praise Him. Each week focuses on a different theme—from singing and movement, to instruments, harmony, storytelling through songs, and sharing God’s love with others. Through Bible stories, interactive activities, creative crafts, and joyful music-making, children will grow in their understanding of worship while building confidence, community, and a heart for praising God.

This children’s worship series introduces kids to the beauty of music as a gift from God and a powerful way to draw close to Him. Through Bible stories, hands-on instrument exploration, singing, and creative activities, children will learn how to worship with their voices, bodies, and talents. Each week builds on themes of praise, prayer, joy, community, and personal devotion, helping kids discover that worship is not just about music—it’s about offering their whole hearts to God.
Auto Mechanics: Ages 12+ Teacher: Ayden Vogel
This class is about learning safety in the shop and how cars work. We will be doing basic maintenance on vehicles, safety test and an engine tear down in the 6 weeks of class.
Class will sometimes meet outside so dress accordingly.
Intro to Wisdom: Ages 8-11 Teacher: Tim Wacker
Building block and concepts of wisdom.
What Does Faith Look Like?: Ages 12+ Teacher: Tim Wacker
Exploring the examples of men and women enshrined in the Hall of Faith. (Pre-read Hebrews 11)
Body Systems: Ages 8-11 & 12+ Teacher: Karen McDonald
God has given us an extraordinary example of His creativity and order in how He has made our bodies to work. We will look at 5 major body systems- Digestive, Renal, Circulatory, Respiratory, and Skeletal.
Week 1 and 2- Overview of Body and Digestive system
Week 3- Renal System
Week 4- Circulatory System
Week 5-Respiratory System
Week 6- Skeletal System
Please have students bring in a thin 3 ring binder, just one of those flimsy ones will work.
Extras (Available to all parents & children):
- Home Room – A place to set your stuff down and relax. Bring a book, bring the math your child still needs to work on, or just let the little ones play till the pool is open!
- The Pool – Open from 1-4 PM. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area at all times. No 2-piece bathing suits allowed. Pool access may be limited by capacity regulations

Property Rules and Regulation:
- Children 5-7 must be signed in and out of class by an adult
- Children under 12 are required to have a parent present in the pool area at all times
- No 2 piece bathing suits
- Parents are not permitted to leave the property while their child is in attendance
- Parents are responsible to be aware of, and know where their child is at all times
- At least 1 class registration is required for family attendance
- All attendees on the property are required to be registered
- Pool wristbands will be handed out each class day at 11:45
- The pool will be closed for the month of December for maintenance.
- Announcements will be made each week during chapel. We encourage all to attend chapel each day at noon.
- Students placement is based upon their age on or before the first day of classes. Please respect the age ranges posted per class, this is for the benefit of the teachers and the class as a whole. If your child has special needs, we are happy to accomodate when possible. Please contact us through the link at the bottom of this page and we will evaluate each case individually.
- Children under the age of 17 are required to wear helmets for all wheeled vehicles (bikes/skateboards/scooter…)
