DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Pastors & Ministry Leaders Conference!\nWhen: Monday – Thursday\, Jan. 29 – Feb. 1\, 2024 \nSpeaker: Dr. Ed Hardesty \n \n  \nDr. Hardesty teaches on the Bible\, Jewish studies\, archaeology\, and the geography of Israel at Cairn University. He regularly leads study tours and participates in archaeological digs in Israel. He also serves as the University liaison for the “Semester Abroad” program with Jerusalem University College. Prior to teaching at Cairn\, Hardesty served in the US Air Force in the Vietnam War and has spent over 40 years in ministry. \n  \n  \nWorship: Jeff & Sue Duffield \nIf you know little about the Duffields\, aside from the fact that they have new life doing contemporary hymns and even the “Oldies”\, you’ve missed out on the exceptional and creative artists they have always been. Since the early 70s\, while Jeff and Sue had major media venues of opportunity and exposure (PTL Club\, 700 Club\, 100 Hundred Huntley Street – Canada) they never strived for commercial success. They turned down many offers for record deals. Sue not only has an incredible vocal ability\, she also writes much of the material they perform. \nJeff is a sought-after keyboardist\, playing\, producing and arranging for such artists/ministries as Jimmy Fortune (of the Statler Brothers)\, Doug Oldham\, the Original Couriers\, Ben “Cooter” Jones of the Dukes of Hazzard\, Sammy Hall\, Dave Boyer\, Canton Junction and John Hagee Ministries. The choice to perform a more jazz\, soulful influenced repertoire while mainstream gospel went a more conservative direction\, proved to be their signature strength. The Duffields were performing this worship flavor a decade or more before it became popular. \nTheir music is rich with many layers. They are truly musicians’ musicians. But most will say Jeff and Sue’s hearts are even bigger than their music. In their later years\, it’s become quite evident that their real joy is helping other artists and ministries. DESCRIPTION:Valentine’s Dinner Concert\n \nFebruary 10th\, 2024 @ 6:30 PM\n  \nfeaturing Jaime Jorge\n Jaime began playing the violin at the age of five. Born and raised in communist Cuba\, he was given many opportunities-including an offer to study in Moscow with some of the greatest musicians of our time-if only he and his family would renounce their belief in God. They refused. When Jaime was ten\, miraculously\, his family was given the opportunity to leave the country. \nThey came to the United States\, where Jaime received a Christian education and violin lessons with eminent violinist and teacher Cyrus Forough. But Jaime dreamed of being a missionary doctor\, and in 1994 he entered the University of Illinois School of Medicine. In 1996\, he left medical school and a promising medical career to follow God’s call to devote his life to full-time music ministry. \nSince 1988 he has traveled over 6 million air miles and has played on 6 continents and in over 80 countries (he’s waiting for an invitation to play for penguins in Antarctica to visit all 7 continents). He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”\n  \nJoin us this weekend in remembering the men and women who sacrificed their lives and gave everything so we can have the freedoms we take for granted every day. \n  \n \nSpeaker: Dr. Ron Cline \nDr. Ronald A. Cline has served as a pastor\, educator\, counselor\, leader\, missionary\, and author\, which gives him credibility\, experience\, and rapport with the many individuals and groups he and his wife\, Barb\, minister to in various countries each year. \nRon and Barb currently serve as Global Ambassadors with Reach Beyond and live in Southern California after living over 30 years abroad. Ron also helps his son train leaders in his son’s organization\, Leader Mundial\, the training wing of Extreme Response. Ron and Barb now travel from Southern California throughout the world. JAARS provides construction\, technology\, and transportation services for Wycliffe Bible Translators. \n  \n  \nWhat to expect this summer at America’s Keswick:\n\nMorning and evening sessions with our speakers\nWe will be having Children’s and Teen’s Ministry\nActivities for all ages! Such as guided nature walks\, scavenger hunts\, a large inflatable slide in the lake\, devotions\, and more!\nDelicious meals prepared on campus served in our dining room\n\n  \nChildren’s & Teen’s Ministry:\nIt’s not Sunday School… It’s not VBS… It’s Children’s Ministry – America’s Keswick style! One of our passions is to teach children from a young age who Jesus is\, why it is important to follow Him\, and how to apply biblical principles to their lives. We take the time to hand-pick fun and responsible leaders who are passionate about teaching YOUR kids. We get to know your children personally so we can teach them at a level that they can understand\, and we also have a whole lot of fun along the way. \nOn top of our biblical lessons\, we have high-energy games\, creative crafts\, delicious snacks\, funny skits\, and everything in between – all designed to follow and reinforce the lesson for the day. We also spend time preparing for our end-of-week presentation\, where you can hear your kids share a passage of Scripture that they’ve memorized and a song that they’ve learned while in Children’s Ministry… but be sure to get there early\, because before the meeting we also have a special bell-ringing ceremony where we celebrate the children who have come to Christ that week. \nOur Children’s Ministry curriculum welcomes infants through age 11\, and ages 12-17 can enjoy our Teen Ministry program. We’re going to have a lot of fun this summer\, and we hope you can join us. \n  \nMeals:\nEach meal starts with a staff member’s blessing in the food. When you enter the doors to the dining hall\, located in the Raws Building\, you will be greeted by the buffet line. Guests are able to grab a plate and choose from the variety of options that are available during the course. Most times there are 1-2 main entrée options with 2-3 sides dishes. During breakfast\, there is a cold bar that is fully stocked with assorted cereals\, milk\, yogurt\, and freshly cut fruit. During lunches and dinners\, we have a freshly prepared salad bar where guests can create their salad exactly to their choosing. Once guests find their seat at a table\,  our friendly servers will bring you beverages and help clear away your plates.
