It’s not just about being led\, it’s about being known\, cared for\, and restored by the One who calls us His own. Like sheep in the Shepherd’s care\, we find rest not only for our bodies but for our souls. Even in the valleys\, we are never alone. His presence brings peace\, His voice brings comfort\, and His house is where we belong. The Shepherd calls us to stay close… to dwell with Him daily. The world may rush\, but the Shepherd restores. Discover the rest your soul has been longing for\, where God speaks to hearts and transforms lives!\n\n  \n  \n  \nSpeaker: Pastor Randy Smith\nRandy Smith was born in Manhattan but moved early in life to the Chicago suburbs. He graduated from Illinois State University in 1988 (BS) and Chicago State University in 1994 (MA). For nine years\, Randy worked as a public-school educator and athletic coach (football and wrestling). In 1997 he began full-time ministry at Grace Church of DuPage in the Chicago suburbs\, seven years after coming to Christ. He graduated from Wheaton College in 2001 (MA)\, the same year he moved to the New Jersey Shore to become the lead pastor of Grace Bible Church (www.jerseygrace.org). There he authored the book\, “Battle-Tested” and received two mayoral proclamations from different towns for distinctive service. After experiencing 23 years of God’s amazing blessings in ministry\, he and his family moved to Michigan in 2024 to be closer to their biological family. Randy loves spending time with his wife (Julie) and four children (Hailey\, Kayla\, Natalie and Shane) and enjoys exercising\, reading\, visiting National Parks and rooting for Chicago sports teams. He has two YouTube channels: One recording his explorations at America’s National Parks (@americasparks) and the other weekly lessons for living a fulfilled life in Christ (@trustedlifelessons). He also maintains a committed hobby of managing his “Grace Quotes” database\, the largest collection of organized Christian quotations on the Internet (www.gracequotes.org). \n  \nMusic & Worship by: \nJeff & Sue Duffield\nAside from the fact that they have new life doing contemporary hymns and even the “Oldies”\, they have always been exceptional and creative artists. Since the early 70s\, while Jeff and Sue had major media venues of opportunity and exposure (PTL Club\, 700 Club\, 100 Hundred Huntley Street – Canada) they never strived for commercial success. Sue not only has an incredible vocal ability\, she also writes much of the material they perform.Jeff is a sought-after keyboardist\, playing\, producing\, and arranging for artists/ministries such as: Jimmy Fortune (of the Statler Brothers)\, Doug Oldham\, the Original Couriers\, Ben “Cooter” Jones of the Dukes of Hazzard\, Sammy Hall\, Dave Boyer\, Canton Junction\, and John Hagee Ministries. The choice to perform a more jazz\, soulful-influenced repertoire instead of mainstream gospel\, a more conservative direction\, proved to be their signature strength. The Duffields were performing this worship flavor a decade or more before it became popular.Their music is rich with many layers. They are truly musicians’ musicians\, but most will say Jeff and Sue’s hearts are even bigger than their music. In their later years\, it’s become quite evident that their real joy is helping other artists and ministries. Their love for Jesus shines in everything they do. \n  \n  \nWhat to expect this summer at America’s Keswick:\n\nMorning and evening sessions with our speakers\nWe will be having Children’s and Teen’s Ministry\nActivities for all ages! Such as guided nature walks\, scavenger hunts\, a large inflatable slide in the lake\, devotions\, and more!\nDelicious meals prepared on campus served in our dining room\n\n  \nChildren’s & Teen’s Ministry:\nIt’s not Sunday School… It’s not VBS… It’s Children’s Ministry – America’s Keswick style! One of our passions is to teach children from a young age who Jesus is\, why it is important to follow Him\, and how to apply biblical principles to their lives. We take the time to hand-pick fun and responsible leaders who are passionate about teaching YOUR kids. We get to know your children personally so we can teach them at a level that they can understand\, and we also have a whole lot of fun along the way. \nOn top of our biblical lessons\, we have high-energy games\, creative crafts\, delicious snacks\, funny skits\, and everything in between – all designed to follow and reinforce the lesson for the day. We also spend time preparing for our end-of-week presentation\, where you can hear your kids share a passage of Scripture that they’ve memorized and a song that they’ve learned while in Children’s Ministry… but be sure to get there early\, because before the meeting we also have a special bell-ringing ceremony where we celebrate the children who have come to Christ that week. \nOur Children’s Ministry curriculum welcomes infants through age 11\, and ages 12-17 can enjoy our Teen Ministry program. We’re going to have a lot of fun this summer\, and we hope you can join us. \n  \nMeals:\nEach meal starts with a staff member’s blessing in the food. When you enter the doors to the dining hall\, located in the Raws Building\, you will be greeted by the buffet line. Guests are able to grab a plate and choose from the variety of options that are available during the course. Most times there are 1-2 main entrée options with 2-3 sides dishes. During breakfast\, there is a cold bar that is fully stocked with assorted cereals\, milk\, yogurt\, and freshly cut fruit. During lunches and dinners\, we have a freshly prepared salad bar where guests can create their salad exactly to their choosing. Once guests find their seat at a table\,  our friendly servers will bring you beverages and help clear away your plates. You will also see our dining room hostess who is available to you at any time should you need any assistance. DESCRIPTION:Kick-off our 2027 Summer Conference Season here at America’s Keswick!\nJoin us this weekend in remembering the men and women who sacrificed their lives and gave everything so we can have the freedoms we take for granted every day. \n  \n  \nSpeaker: Dr. Ed Hardesty\nDr. Hardesty teaches on the Bible\, Jewish studies\, archaeology\, and the geography of Israel at Cairn University. He regularly leads study tours and participates in archaeological digs in Israel. He also serves as the University liaison for the “Semester Abroad” program with Jerusalem University College. Prior to teaching at Cairn\, Hardesty served in the US Air Force in the Vietnam War and has spent over 40 years in ministry. \n  \n  \nMusic & Worship by: TBA\n  \n  \nSpecial Features:\n\nMission updates with JAARS\nPatriotic Memorial Day Service\nBarbecue\n\n  \n  \n  \nJAARS (Jungle Aviation and Relay Service) uses aircraft\, boats\, and off-road vehicles to relay the Word of God\, the missionaries who translate it\, the people they minister to\, and the supplies they need across geographical barriers. A team from JAARS will be at America’s Keswick over Memorial Day weekend to chat and share about their mission and how you can help cover the last mile of missions.
