DESCRIPTION:Family Week #2\nJuly 19-24\, 2020\n   Need a place to relax and recharge after a busy year? Want to experience the fun of a summer vacation all while growing in your faith in God? Get ready to be transformed by God’s word this summer at America’s Keswick.  Our theme is “Destination Holiness- Set Apart for More” and the verses we’re focusing on are 2 Peter 1:5-8 – “For this very reason\, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness\, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge\, self-control; and to self-control\, perseverance; and to perseverance\, godliness; 7 and to godliness\, mutual affection; and to mutual affection\, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure\, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” What does it mean to be set apart for more? Wally Webster & Dr. Ed Hardesty \n \nPastor Wally Webster began his ministry at Mount Airy Bible Church in July of 1986. He is a graduate of Washington Bible College (BA\, 1976)\, Pensacola Christian College (MA\, 1980)\, Capital Bible Seminary (M.Div.\, 1986)\, and Trinity Theological Seminary (D.Min.\, 1993). He has been an educator\, coach\, and Christian leader on high school and college levels. His wife\, Vicky\, is a graduate of Messiah College (BS\, 1983) and taught school for many years before becoming a mom. She is currently the Elementary Principal of Mount Airy Christian Academy. The Webster’s have four children. \n\nDr. Hardesty teaches on the Bible\, Jewish studies\, archaeology\, and the geography of Israel. He regularly leads study tours and participates in archaeological digs in Israel. He also serves as the University liaison for the “Semester Abroad” program with Jerusalem University College. Prior to teaching at Cairn\, Hardesty served in the US Air Force in the Vietnam War and has spent roughly 40 years in ministry. He has also taught at Perry Hall Christian School (1981–82) and Baltimore School of the Bible (1982–1985).In addition to serving at Cairn\, Dr. Hardesty is a pastor/teacher at Redeemer’s Fellowship in Shrewsbury\, PA. \n  \n\n\n\n\nMusic & Worship by:\n \nRobert & Joyce Hayes\nRobert and Joyce are Artists-in-Residence at America’s Keswick. Robert is a gifted concert pianist and Joyce\, a gifted vocalist. Together they make beautiful music unto the Lord. A non-refundable deposit of $75.00 per adult or 20% of the reservation (whichever is greater) and $25.00 per child (ages 5-18) is required.
