DESCRIPTION:Kick-off our 2027 Summer Conference Season here at America’s Keswick!\nJoin us this weekend in remembering the men and women who sacrificed their lives and gave everything so we can have the freedoms we take for granted every day. \n  \n  \nSpeaker: Dr. Ed Hardesty\nDr. Hardesty teaches on the Bible\, Jewish studies\, archaeology\, and the geography of Israel at Cairn University. He regularly leads study tours and participates in archaeological digs in Israel. He also serves as the University liaison for the “Semester Abroad” program with Jerusalem University College. Prior to teaching at Cairn\, Hardesty served in the US Air Force in the Vietnam War and has spent over 40 years in ministry. \n  \n  \nMusic & Worship by: TBA\n  \n  \nSpecial Features:\n\nMission updates with JAARS\nPatriotic Memorial Day Service\nBarbecue\n\n  \n  \n  \nJAARS (Jungle Aviation and Relay Service) uses aircraft\, boats\, and off-road vehicles to relay the Word of God\, the missionaries who translate it\, the people they minister to\, and the supplies they need across geographical barriers. A team from JAARS will be at America’s Keswick over Memorial Day weekend to chat and share about their mission and how you can help cover the last mile of missions. Helicopter rides will also be available. \n  \n  \nWhat to expect this summer at America’s Keswick:\n\nMorning and evening sessions with our speakers\nWe will be having Children’s and Teen’s Ministry\nActivities for all ages! Such as guided nature walks\, scavenger hunts\, a large inflatable slide in the lake\, devotions\, and more!\nDelicious meals prepared on campus served in our dining room\n\n  \nChildren’s & Teen’s Ministry:\nIt’s not Sunday School… It’s not VBS… It’s Children’s Ministry – America’s Keswick style! One of our passions is to teach children from a young age who Jesus is\, why it is important to follow Him\, and how to apply biblical principles to their lives. We take the time to hand-pick fun and responsible leaders who are passionate about teaching YOUR kids. We get to know your children personally so we can teach them at a level that they can understand\, and we also have a whole lot of fun along the way. \nOn top of our biblical lessons\, we have high-energy games\, creative crafts\, delicious snacks\, funny skits\, and everything in between – all designed to follow and reinforce the lesson for the day. We also spend time preparing for our end-of-week presentation\, where you can hear your kids share a passage of Scripture that they’ve memorized and a song that they’ve learned while in Children’s Ministry… but be sure to get there early\, because before the meeting we also have a special bell-ringing ceremony where we celebrate the children who have come to Christ that week. \nOur Children’s Ministry curriculum welcomes infants through age 11\, and ages 12-17 can enjoy our Teen Ministry program. We’re going to have a lot of fun this summer\, and we hope you can join us. \n  \nMeals:\nEach meal starts with a staff member’s blessing in the food. When you enter the doors to the dining hall\, located in the Raws Building\, you will be greeted by the buffet line. Guests are able to grab a plate and choose from the variety of options that are available during the course. Most times there are 1-2 main entrée options with 2-3 sides dishes. During breakfast\, there is a cold bar that is fully stocked with assorted cereals\, milk\, yogurt\, and freshly cut fruit. During lunches and dinners\, we have a freshly prepared salad bar where guests can create their salad exactly to their choosing. Once guests find their seat at a table\,  our friendly servers will bring you beverages and help clear away your plates. You will also see our dining room hostess who is available to you at any time should you need any assistance.
