Between our music ministry\, fun games and activities\, and powerful messages\, this is an event you won’t want to miss. \nWeekend Speaker: Lucinda Secrest McDowell\n\nWeekend Theme: HOPE – Your Soul’s Anchor in a Stormy World\n\n “Rest in God alone\, my soul\, for my HOPE comes from Him.”  Psalm 62.5 \n\n\nFeeling overwhelmed in a time of chaos and change? Wondering how to find strength and balance for your impossible life? Then join us for a weekend of soul care\, stories and song — filled with encouragement and HOPE from the One who knows you best and loves you most – God.  During “HOPE – Your Soul’s Anchor in a Stormy World” we will learn how to move from hopeless to hope-filled along with our sisters while digging into God’s Word and enjoying great fellowship and fun. \nOur guest speaker\, Lucinda Secrest McDowell\, is passionate about embracing life — both through deep soul care from drawing closer to God\, as well as living courageously in order to touch a needy world. A storyteller who engages both heart and mind\, she delights in “Helping you Choose a Life of Serenity & Strength.”  A graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Furman University\, McDowell is the author of 13 books and contributing author to 30+ books.
