DESCRIPTION:Step away from the noise and into a sacred space of creativity\, community\, and worship. Whether you’re kneading sourdough\, painting\, crafting with clay\, or sanding a charcuterie board\, this weekend retreat is for makers of all kinds—those who create with their hands and long to be formed by the hands of the Creator.\n  \n  \n\n\nSpeaker: Tucker Rodkey\nI agreed to go with my art teacher to Philly where we spent the afternoon painting large scale oil paintings that were modern retellings of biblical parables. The conversations flowed so naturally. That’s when the lightning bolt hit. WHAT IF WE USED ART TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL? When I was 18 I dropped out of college and began living out of my car\, traveling the East Coast of the US\, sharing the Gospel through speed painting on boardwalks\, street corners and churches. Two years later I launched Painting Freedom Ministries\, a Christian Arts non profit dedicated to spreading the Gospel through the art. Since launching Painting Freedom I have had the opportunity to travel all across the United States\, speaking at churches\, conferences\, schools\, outreaches\, festivals and even living room gatherings. \n  \n\n\nMusic & Worship by: Garden State Worship Collective\nThe ministry of the collective is to raise up and unite worship leaders to create a dynamic community committed to leading God’s people into His presence through worship. Comprised of musicians from multiple churches around the Garden State\, we seek to provide a nurturing environment for spiritual birth\, growth\, and renewal\, fostering a deep and intimate relationship with Jesus as worship leads the way. We believe in the power of unity and collaboration\, fostering a community who are passionate about serving God and His people.
