Weekend Speakers: Phyllis & Hannah Webb
We can’t say enough about these two INCREDIBLE women of God! Phyllis & Hannah Webb are a mother-and-daughter duo and are part of the world-renowned musical group, The Rick Webb Family.
Dr. Phyllis Webb has served over 40 years in ministry and has been awarded the Order of the Long Lead Pine Award from Governor Pat McCrory for doing so. She began her music ministry career in 1978 and has sang in over 500 concerts and internationally tours 100,000 miles annually. She has been presented an honorary doctorate degree from Laurel University for her many years of experience and devotion to the Christian/Gospel Music Industry. Through all of her successes and through all of the opportunities she’s presented with, Phyllis remains constant in one goal, Jesus is the center of all she does.
Hannah Webb is an international spokesperson for Compassion International, a child sponsorship organization that assists over 1.5 impoverished children worldwide. She became a professional recording artist at the age of sixteen and has performed on stage with noted personalities such as Governor Mike Huckabee, Governor Chris Christie, Governor Nikki Haley, Kathy Ireland, Dr. David Jeremiah, George Beverly Shea and Tim LaHaye to name a few. Webb performs over 150 concerts and ministers to over 100,00 people, annually, with her family’s music ministry. Appearing on five major recording projects and featured “Young Artist” in multiple Christian magazines, she was offered a solo recording contract, which was released in April 2014. In 2015, Hannah won the 2015 Female Vocalist of the Year and was honored with a #1 radio hit from MusicToRadio.com – a source pulling from 3,600 radio stations.
