What would happen if?

Posted on July 19, 2021 by Catey Stover in Victory Call

What would happen if we said yes to Jesus every time?

What would happen if we followed Jesus closely?

What would happen if we repented quickly when we sinned?

What would happen if we took God at His Word?

What would happen if we trusted God with every aspect of our lives?

What would happen if we fled every temptation?

What would happen if the Cross became a daily part of our lives?

What would happen if we chose holiness over happiness?

What would happen if we loved Jesus more than anything else?

What would happen if we were not easily offended?

What would happen if we refused to gossip?

What would happen if we loved others more than we loved ourselves?

What would happen if we treated others the way we wanted to be treated?

What would happen if we prayed without ceasing?

What would happen if we forgave seven times seventy times?

Well, we wouldn’t recognize each other for one thing.

Seriously though, for most of us our lives would look a lot different than they do.

But you know we could not possibly do any of these things in our own strength. Unless we trust Jesus to live His life through us, we have no hope of succeeding for His glory.

Blessings,

Diane

Think About This: “The name of Jesus is the sum total of all delights. It is the music with which the bells of heaven ring; a song in the world; a matchless oratorio in two syllables; a gathering up of the hallelujahs of eternity in five letters.” – Charles Haddon Spurgeon
