To Frog

17 But if, while we seek to be justified in Christ [by faith], we ourselves are found to be sinners, does that make Christ an advocate or promoter of our sin? Certainly not! 18 For if I [or anyone else should] rebuild [through word or by practice] what I once tore down [the belief that observing the Law is essential for salvation], I prove myself to be a transgressor. 19 For through the Law I died to the Law and its demands on me [because salvation is provided through the death and resurrection of Christ], so that I might [from now on] live to God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Galatians 2:17-20 AMP

In a sense, “To Frog” (a play on words rip it…rip it…) means to rip out stitches you have already sown. Which believe me, can be very frustrating when you’ve sown so many! But if you don’t go back and set it straight, it will never be right. You’ll just continue to sew into a pattern that is going in the wrong direction.

In today’s culture when it comes to relating that application to biblical teaching the one doing the “Frogging” may have other’s trying to drown them out. I encourage you to keep speaking the truth in love and kindness. Sometimes that means we may first have to rip out lies that the enemy has sown into our lives or the lives of others to straighten thing out. False teaching can be very convincing, yet it’s our responsibility to continue to study the bible so that we know the truth and can recognize a lie. Don’t ignore it when the Spirit of God gives you the inclination that something isn’t quite right. In this passage of Galatians, Paul says that he’s not going to rebuild what he once tore down. Remember, Paul (Saul) was so firm in his beliefs he’d kill and die for them. That is until he encountered the Truth Himself and the lies blinding his eyes were torn down on a street called Straight.  (Acts 9)

The Lord bless you…
