Done!

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.  Philippians 1:6

In the midst of my current circumstances I have seen God do some really AMAZING things! The process remains long and drawn out. Decisions that are yet to be made may leave my desires on hold for a long time.  I have been reminded over and over again that God has begun this working out of answered prayers over a very long period of time. He is working and will continue to do so. We aren’t at the end of it but I am trusting that it will be completed one day.

There are many story lines that need to come to completion and many hearts that God is working on all at once. God continues to remind me that He is a multi-tasker. While I want to be through and done with one thing, He has more things in view that are all tied together. There are things that need to be accomplished in all of the players in this chapter of our story.  And we are in a chapter…. The full story has not been revealed to us.

As the story continues, I want to sneak a peek at the ending, but I can’t. I must continue to trust the Author with all the twists and turns of what lies ahead. Eventually, we will see how God will wrap it all together, but not yet.

I have a plaque sitting on a shelf in my home that reads, “Not to spoil the ending, but it’s all going to be okay.” And it is going to all be okay when all is said and done.
