ABOUT AMERICA’S KESWICK: America’s Keswick is a ministry where biblical teaching is used to cultivate a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through Addiction Recovery, Conferences, Retreats, Events, and Outreach.

The purpose of America’s Keswick is to model and teach biblical victorious living in Christ Jesus, to provide an environment in which biblical life transformation takes place, and to foster active personal involvement in the local church.

DEPARTMENT PURPOSE:  The Addiction Recovery Ministry of America’s Keswick is a spiritual and biblically based recovery ministry for those in bondage to addiction and life-dominating sins.  Barbara’s Place, is a 120-day residential women’s addiction recovery ministry of America’s Keswick.

 

POSITION PURPOSE: The purpose of the Barbara’s Place Chaplain is to minister to the residents of Barbara’s Place.

 

ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS:

  • The one holding this position must be a mature Christian, able to effectively lead and demonstrate Christ-likeness personally and professionally. It is imperative that this person always conduct themselves in a manner as to uphold a solid testimony in harmony with traditional, conservative, evangelical values. She must completely adhere to the doctrinal position of America’s Keswick and seek to live the principles of God’s Word. It is understood that failure to maintain a high standard of personal testimony will be grounds for dismissal.
  • The one holding this position must also minister using the bible in harmony with traditional evangelical values, fully adhering to the doctrinal position of America’s Keswick and its counseling guidelines.
  • They will possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies, human services, or related field. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 3 years of related work experience + significant knowledge of the bible will be accepted.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Solid verbal and non-verbal communication skills are necessary to perform the duties of this position.
  • Strong computer skills are required with MS Office Suite and other proprietary programs.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: These positions reports to the Director of Women’s Addiction Recovery.

 

HOURS: These roles will require some nights and weekends.
