Rick Brickey

Chaplain of Operations
I work at America’s KESWICK because I am a graduate, and during the time I was in the Colony God did a wonderful work in my heart. As a result of that work He gave me real love for the Colony guys and a desire to help them in any way I can.
I was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Maryland. I married a lady I meet in Church and raised my family in the Christian faith. There was one huge problem and that was I never had a, “walking-talking”, relationship with Jesus. I believed in Jesus and made a profession of faith but the only time He was needed was when there was trouble. As a result I started letting things into my life that should not have been there. That ended in a seven year addition to drugs that eventually took everything important to me including my family! On February 06, 2002 I entered America’s KESWICK Colony of Mercy. There GOD spoke to me in Deuteronomy 7 and told me I was to have no other Gods before Him and that if I would put Him first in my life He would make my pathway straight! Today my life is very exciting because God is on the Thrown and my pathway is clear. In January of this year I became a chaplain at America’s KESWICK and in May I graduated four years of Clinical Pastoral Education and will receive a certification as a chaplain in September.
