STAFF PRAISE AND PRAYER

 

 

Pray for the staff and our families as we begin the Summer Conference Season. Pray that we will all be faithful to our time with the Lord and our families as we strive to serve our guests with excellence.

 

Pray for granddaughter of Diane Hunt (admin. of Addiction Recovery Ministries), Lexi, as she undergoes tests to determine why she has had a few episodes of passing out. Pray for peace and comfort for Lexi's mom, dad and grandparents. Also pray that the doctors will be able to make an accurate diagnosis and subsequent treatment.

 

 Praise the Lord for the on-going good health of Ruth Raws (Pastor Bill’s wife). She has been victorious in walking through this year without Pastor Bill and coming through her cancer. She is volunteering several afternoons at the Colony of Mercy. God is good. 

 

Continue to pray for George Frederiksen (husband of Janet, Dining Room hostess).  George recently had a bone marrow transplant and is doing extremely well. The doctors are amazed, but we know that God is the one to be glorified. Janet and George are very thankful for praying friends.

 

 Pray for Susan Mahoney's (accounting) dad. He has been put on a feeding tube. Pray for strength for Susan and her sister, Martha, as they care for him. Martha is his full-time caregiver.

   

Pray for the many that have come to know Christ at the last several conferences, hymnsings and concerts. Pray that they will seek the Lord and find a good church.

 

 Pray for the Becker’s (board member) grandson, Joshua who is still having blood issues. The Becker’s son and daughter-in-law are missionaries in Ireland.

 

Praise the Lord for the beautiful new baby boy born to Laura and Jon Groen (daughter of Bill and Jan Welte). Case William Groen was born Saturday, June 13th at 11:17 AM, 10 lbs. 2 oz., 22 in.  Praise the Lord that Laura, Jon, Tanner and Case are doing well.

Pray for family of Faye Geiser’s (volunteer) daughter-in-law in the loss of her father.  This family has lost 2 family members this year and they do not know the Lord. Pray for salvation and comfort.

 

Pray for the weekly Monday Bible studies for men and women. Higher Ground Too (Women) meets at 2:00 PM in the Seminar Room off of the Raws Auditorium and Higher Ground (Women) meets  at 7:00 PM in the Raw's Administration Building; New Creations (Men) meets at 7:00 PM in the Colony Chapel.

 

Pray for the ministry of FREEDOM FIGHTERS, a daily email of encouragement for men who desire to live in victory. You can sign up for the FF email on the web site home page.

 

Pray for the ministry of VICTORY CALL, a Monday through Friday email of encouragement for women who desire to live in victory.  You can sign up for VC email on the web site home page.
